Event breakdown includes: 3 panel discusions, a book drive requesting donors to submit books from their favorite African authors, book readings and an African drumming jam session to entertain attendees.
To reflect our 'Drum Major theme', Drum entertainment, plus drum painting will be provided. The painted drums will in turn be donated to the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, as a token of the African support for the massacre at the school.
